The Morristown Division of Health is under the Department of Human Services in the Town of Morristown. The Division provides an array of Public Health Services to the residents of Morristown. The Division is located in Town Hall on the second Floor.

The Division consists of the Environmental, Nursing, and Animal Control components. The Health Division serves as the town’s Local Health Agency, and provides services as mandated by the Public Health Practice Standards of Performance for Local Boards of Health in New Jersey.

The town does not have a formal Board of Health so Town Council assumes that role.

The Division enforces the New Jersey Sanitary Code along with all Federal, State, and Local Ordinances that deal in Public Health.

In addition, the Division provides Well Child Immunizations and Physicals along with Blood Pressure Screenings; Influenza Vaccinations, and other services.

The Health Division provides educational and promotional services through the Community Health Department at Morristown Memorial Hospital. They offer a variety of Health Educational Services as well as screenings and referrals for further care.
