The Morristown Health Officer and the Registered Environmental Health Specialist conduct inspections on all Retail Food Establishments in the Town of Morristown. These inspections are conducted in accordance with Chapter 24 of the NJ Sanitary Code.
In addition to inspections, the Division will conduct periodic spot checks to ensure compliance, investigate all complaints from citizens dealing with food, and investigate recalls on certain food products given to the division by the state and Federal Government, conduct embargoes on food products which were adulterated or misbranded under NJSA Title 24 along with various other activities.
