Animal Control Officer - Per Diem

ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER (PER DIEM) - The Morristown of seeks a per diem Animal Control Officer who will be responsible for capturing and impounding stray animals, trapping animals as necessary, and transporting animals to the veterinarian or shelter, along with handling related complaints. Other duties as assigned. The candidate will be required to maintain essential records and files. This position does require physical labor, and the candidate should be able to lift, carry, and/or move heavy objects. Must be available on call for emergencies, after hours, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License along with a current and valid certificate as an Animal Control Officer issued by the New Jersey Department of Health. Hourly rate: $15.00 per hour - $30.00 per hour. EOE
