SENIOR MAINTENANCE REPAIRER (Full-Time)

SENIOR MAINTENANCE REPAIRER (Full-Time) Town of Morristown – Sewer Department. The Town of Morristown is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Senior Maintenance Repairer within the Sewer Department. Under the direction of the Sewer Superintendent, the successful candidate will perform general maintenance duties along with a variety of complex maintenance and repair tasks related to the operation and upkeep of the Town’s sewer infrastructure and equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining and operating various tools, machinery, and equipment used in sewer system operations and repair. The candidate will possess strong technical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining the sewer infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications:

·         At least one (1) year of experience performing complex maintenance and repair work

·         Valid New Jersey Driver’s License

·         Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker Endorsement (required)

·         Public Wastewater System Operator Licenses S2 and C2 is preferred

The successful candidate will be required to participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Salary Range: $70,799 – $82,200. (EOE)
