SNOW TEAM VOLUNTEER – WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that my participation as a volunteer with the Town of Morristown Snow Team is voluntary. I understand that snow removal and related activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, exposure to cold weather, snow and ice, physical exertion, equipment-related hazards, traffic, and other conditions associated with winter weather and snow operations.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for determining whether I am physically able to safely participate in Snow Team activities and agree to follow all instructions, safety procedures, and directions provided by authorized Town personnel.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release and hold harmless the Town of Morristown, its elected and appointed officials, employees, agents, and representatives from claims, demands, or liability arising out of or related to my voluntary participation in the Snow Team, except to the extent caused by conduct for which liability cannot legally be waived or released.

I understand that I am not an employee of the Town of Morristown by virtue of volunteering for the Snow Team and that participation does not create an employment relationship, entitlement to compensation, or any guarantee of assignment or participation.

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Waiver and Release of Liability.
